Description

 TITLE:  The Second Of May

ARTIST:    May Blitz  LABEL:  Vertigo Swirl

STEREO:      NUMBER     6360 037   YEAR   1971

CONDITION OF VINYL:  The vinyl would be classified as very crackly indeed! So why bid? The reason is the very low start price! The album is listenable and is an absolute swirl monster!!  But beware you are getting a very crackly copy indeed! But it is nevertheless an original and extremely rare record indeed! On the plus side the first track actually plays reasonably well! (And the music is stunning!) The album sticks at the start of the second track - but nowhere else. But it crackles all the way through. There are no jumps or skips.  Have you got the stomach for it? I have copied this album, as the music is superb. A recent copy sold on ebay for over £600 and believe me, in good condition,it is worth it!

CONDITION OF COVER: The cover would be classified as  similarly poor. There are some pen markings and the spine has considerable rubbing. Visible on the spine is MAY BLITZ and VERTIGO, but little else! There is ringwear and creasing present.

INNER SLEEVE  The original inner sleeve is missing.

PACKAGING  My vinyl is always very carefully packaged with inner stiffening to avoid the possibility of breakage. More expensive items will require a signature. Please bid with absolute confidence.

All these gradings are very strict and follow the Record Collector price guide.

MINT    The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT    The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD     The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
