Artist: Maya Angelou


Album: The Poetry of Maya Angelou


Description: 1972 green and brown label stereo promo. This is the second pressing of the album, following a 1969 release on GWP. It is basically just Angelou reading her poetry, but almost with a beat. The recording is clear and it's very well done.

Sleeve Condition: VG++, the sleeve is really nice and very clean overall, mostly still in shrink but pulled back just a little. There is just some light corner wear, but the colors are great and there are no wrinkles or bends. One step below NM. Still has the original inner sleeve which is really nice with no splits or tears. Displays great.


Vinyl Condition: NM, Disc is in fantastic shape, no real wear or damage at all. Very clean and shiny, this has clearly been well cared-for and can't have been played much. Labels look fantastic. Play tested in spots & it plays well with really good sound no play issues at all. Top notch copy overall.
