Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono promo pressing of McCoy Tyner “Live at Newport” on the coated white labels of Impulse A-48. Side A has an inaudible scuff on the first track; otherwise, the playing surface is in near-new condition. Side B has three strange-looking pressing anomalies on the first track; other than a very low-level thumping at the start of the track, the anomalies are inaudible; the rest of the playing surface is as new; high luster throughout; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is virtually in new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect – with sharp corners and unworn seams. Impulse inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Charlie Mariano, Clark Terry, Bob Cranshaw, and Mickey Roker. $100.00.
