Super rare box set

There was only 500 of these released world wide in 2001. I have never seen one on ebay, and to find them anywhere else is pretty much impossible. The people who do own these, just don't want to sell them. The only time I have seen these for sale on line was last year, and the set sold for $560. 

There are 11, 7' singles in the set, they are;

- Denver. Songs of John Denver, Country Roads & Leaving On A Jet Plane. Released in 1995 on Fat Wreck Chords. Printed on purple wax vinyl.

- Billy. Songs of Billy Joel, Uptown Girl & Only The Good Die Young. Released in 1996 on Epitaph. Printed on clear lime vinyl. 

- Paul. Songs of Paul Simon, Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard & Mother And Child Reunion. Released in 1997 on Kung Fu Records.

- Diamond. Songs of Neil Diamond, Sweet Caroline & America. Released in 1997 on Hopeless Records.

- Barry. Songs of Barry Manilow, Mandy & I Write The Songs. Released in 1997 on Side One Dummy Records.

- Elton. Songs of Elton John, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" & "Rocket Man". Released in 1999 on Honest Don's Records.

- Garf. Songs of Art Garfunkel, "The Boxer" & "I Am A Rock". Released in 1999 on Lookout! Records.

- In Your Barcalounger. Songs of James Taylor, "Fire And Rain" & "You've Got A Friend. Released in 1999 on Alternative Tentacles Records.

- Shannon. Songs of Del Shannon, "Runaway" & "Hats Off To Larry". Released in 2001 on BYO Records. Printed on aqua wax vinyl.

- Stevens. Songs of Cat Stevens, "Father And Son" & "Wild World. Released in 2001 on Nitro Records. Printed on blue wax vinyl.

- Bob. Songs of Bob Dylan, "Blowin' In The Wind" & "The Times They Are A-Changing". Released in 2001 (box set only) on Fat Wreck Chords. Printed on red vinyl. RARE RARE RARE

The first ten of these were released as singles, and can be found around the place, some a lot more harder to find than others. 

But the Bob EP was only ever released as part of this box set. So there are only 500 of these EP's ever printed, and you will never find one being sold on it's own as it would break up the box set. So this one is super rare, and much sort after.

The set comes in a "Bowling Bag" carry case. Also included are 5 Gimme Gimmes pins, 2 Gimme Gimmes drink coasters and 4 Gimme Gimmes stickers.

This box set is Brand New. The records have never been played and are in perfect condition.

Some of the corners on a few of the sleeves have very minor creases, which were only caused by the carry bag.

This is an awesome and very rare collection, a must have for any serious Gimme Gimmes fans.

VERY, VERY regretable sale. I wish I could hold onto it, but I can't. I have never owned a record player, have just been a collector. But as time goes by, priorities take over.
