Description
We have recently aquired a first class collection of records comprising of approximately 40,000 45's, 78's, and L.P.'s in every genre including rock & roll, funk, punk, blues, soul, northern soul, R&B, surf, jazz, country, doo-wop etc.The release dates range from the 1910's through to the 2000's. The owner has been collecting since the late 1950's and looked after his records with care. Bid with confidence, we grade records accurately and have been buying and selling records through Ebay since 1999.

-Me, Myself And Eye is Carl A. Gerde who appears to have written, sung and played all the musical instruments on this quite excellent techno electronic recording from 1969.
-Titles: I Come From The Andromeda Galaxy / You Look For Trouble
-"ICome From The Andromeda Galaxy" is a way-ahead-of-its-time primitive , DIY , melodic hardcore, experimental techno electronic with a fantastic outer space sound to it. A high quality psych / weird recording with a lot of cool stuff to listen to.
"You Look For Trouble" is completely different to "Andromeda Galaxy". It starts with bass, percussion, guitar, harp all in a mid-tempo rockin' beat. Carl Gerde sings this bluesy rocker with a lot of feeling. This recording easily conjures up how the Beatles might have influenced Carl A. Gerde.
-The jacket is home made and has the lyrics to "Andromeda" hand written in blue pen on the front with a sketch of a galaxy to the right of the lyrics. The back is a piece of paper glued to the sleeve with the lyrics to "You Look For Trouble" photo-copied onto the paper.
-Label: Fanfare F-1103 A & B The label has several items hand-written on the labels. The 'Andromeda' side has "A", "Promotional Copy Not For Sale", "C/O Carl Gerde, with his address". The 'You Look For Trouble' side is similar except there is a phone number written on the label and no address. Finally, there is also a 4-3/4" dia. circle insert with "A Memory From 1969" and "Cake Month Publishing Co" written on it in pen.
-In all likelyhood this is either a one-off or there were very few copies made, considering the amount of hand written information throughout the package.

-Visual grade: Strong VG+, both sides play with excellent fidelity and no distortion.
