Description

Mead & Dickinson Hot Shot String Band one side Metal acetate 13" 78

This was probably intended to be released because the radio announcer referred to this recording as a record, but for some reason never got commercially released by 4 Star.

This acetate was found in 4 Star warehouse.
On the center of record and on old sleeve it has written 4* M-101 then 7/8/48

The playing grooves of this 13 1/4" acetate start 2/5 into the record and appears in VG+++ condition.  It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 70 years.
