Meatloaf 1 Picture Disc 7” & 1 Promo 7” Single + Jim Steinman Promo Single.
Lovey little bundle by the late great Meat Loaf who sadly passed away recently, plus a promo single by Meat Loaf long time collaborator Jim Steinman (that was also covered by Meat Loaf some years later.
01. Meat Loaf - Cry Over Me/Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. Released in 2006 as a picture disc in custom stickered plastic sleeve. I’m slightly confused as the single as you will see from the picture, lists Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose as the B-Side but the sticker on the front lists I’d Lie For You (And That’s The Truth) as the B-Side, I have no idea which one is the right one as I’ve never played it, was purchased for collection and stored, never played in mint Condition. The A-Side is from the above album Bat Out Of Hell III.
02. Bat Out Of Hell Promo single in plain white sleeve, Released on 26th January 1979. The A-Side has the short version (4:43) & the B-Side has the long version (6:40) again was purchased for collection and has never been played by me in ex condition.
03. Jim Steinman - The Storm/Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through promo single in picture sleeve. Taken from the album Bad For Good and released in 1981.
Both sides play at 331/3 RPM. The Storm is the prologue to the album Bad For Good (4:26) Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through is the Epilogue to the album Bad For Good and is the full version not the shorter one released on standard release single (6:28) another one purchased for the collection the single is in Ex Condition, the sleeve in VG Condition and a very small split along the bottom of sleeve where the single has come through after 41 years of storage.
