Up for auction is The Beatles-Meet The Beatles original first pressing released January 1964 on Capitiol Records T-2047 this is a very first pressing with no BMI-ASCAP Publisher Credits and no Producer/George Martin Credits (Mono) RIAA #3 Scranton the overall condition of the cover is VG++ no seam splits, writing or tears still in original shrinkwrap, the vinyl is VG++ no deep scratches or scuffs no writing, tears or stickers on the labels comes with original Capitol blue inner sleeve also with this auction is an original Promotional Teaser " The Beatles Are Coming" wigs sticker, which you could affix to the album yourself if you wanted to-These orange & white Capitol promotional 'teaser" stickers are among the earliest known items of Beatles memorabilia The 3"x2" stickers were designed to be placed by Capitol salesman on "any friendly surface as you walk down the street this was part of Capitol's initial January 1964 Beatlemania blitz to to promote the release of the Meet The Beatles album and I Want To Hold Your Hand single also with this auction and album is a copy of the MEMO from Capitol Records to their salesman with instructions with how and where to place The Beatles -Promotional Wiggs Sticker to promote The Beatles -Meet The Beatles Album and the Beatles arrival to America this was the start of Beatlemania and the rest is history! This album along with the other items in this auction would be a nice addition for any serious Beatles Collector or Beatles Fan!
