Description
This is the very first issue of Meet The Beatles. It is on Capitol records T-2047. MONO. This is the issue WITHOUT the song credits after the songs on the labels. No BMI or ASCAP listed. Small number 3 next to the RIAA symbol on the back cover. A very nice copy indeed. The cover is excellent, full tight seams and spine with the original baggy type plastic cover still tightly in place. it is much whiter than my camera shows it to be. As pics show there is a $3.98 price and code tag and what it is is a loose paper tag folded over the top of the cover under the plastic. It was not a sticker type just a paper that can be removed if wanted. The plastic has kept it in place all these years. Very nice clean tight cover, probably one of the few in existence in this condition. The vinyl is very good+, full gloss with excellent clean labels, nice, with some faint lines seen under light. Unlike most of these first issues this one was not abused. Also included is the original blue Capitol inner sleeve. I believe you will like this one. Due to my inexpensive camera and photographic inexperience I guarantee everything pictured to look much better than pictured as the blurriness does not exist.
