This is a FANTASTIC FUNK number from a virtually unknown group out of Augusta, GA from 1981.  They did a little work with James Brown during this time including a couple of appearances on James Brown's TV Show that was based out of Atlanta, GA.  Unfortunately this group never made it big (though they should have when you give them a listen - please take a moment) maybe because of James Brown (he was known to have ruined a couple of promising careers during his day).  World did manage to put out 2 AWESOME 45s, 1 LP (From The Core - 1982) and 1 rumored 12" (I have never seen a copy to verify this).  I have been able to find out that most of the members still reside in Augusta, GA though most do not play any more (how unfortunate).  I have never witnessed this MONSTER record up for auction before anywhere, so DO NOT MISS your opportunity to grab this pristine copy as it may be your only chance to ever get a hold of it.  I am conservatively grading this one at VG++ due to some Very faint paper scuffs visible under bright light.  You will not be disappointed and will have no reason to upgrade this copy (assuming you can ever even find another).
