Description
This auction is for a rare Combat press of Megadeth's debut album Killing is My Business... and Business is Good!
As I understand the pressing history, this is one of only a handful of pressings done by Combat Records. Of all the original pressings, for reasons I don't know, Combat pressed one with a CombatCore inner label instead of a regular Combat label. CombatCore was their hardcore imprint and home to bands like Agnostic Front and The Crumbsuckers. The coloring on the cover is slightly different as well, making this a true Megadeth collectable.
This record was owned by a fan who played it often but it remains in remarkable condition considering it's over 30 years old.
The cover is excellent. It has no splits, no tears, no writing, and very little ring wear. It does have minor shelf wear/edge wear.
The vinyl is excellent. It has only minor visual wear and still has some sheen. I have played it all the way through and there are no skips or repeats but there is minor surface noise especially during quiet passages, which are few and far between on this metallic masterpiece!
Buyer pays actual shipping. The $4 is for Media Mail in the US only. Any other shipping requests and all international shipping will be at actual cost.
