MEGA-RARE!! How often will this item come up for sale??? The 1958 original UK album - "Billy Ward and His Dominoes, Featuring Clyde McPhatter"(10" Parlophone PMD 1061) MONO. The album, released in 1958, is now reckoned to be one of the rarest, if not THE RAREST Doo-Wop LP available!! The 10 tracks on the album feature the great voice of Clyde McPhatter, but by the time of the album's release, he had moved on to bigger and greater things!! The tracks are trully magnificent, and represent the finest in Doo-Wop, early Rock 'n' Roll!! The condition of the album is ASTOUNDING!! The VINYL is ALMOST MINT!! Just a couple of tiny marks, which don't sound, show that the record HAS been played. The surface, however, is really LOVELY AND SHINY, the label has hardly any spindle wear, and the Black/Gold Parlophone sign is totally clean and intact!! The Sleeve is BEAUTIFULLY LAMINATED, with just one tiny edge tear on the right opening edge, but apart from that, is ALMOST NEW in appearance. Considering that the item is 46 years old, it's a most gorgeous example to see!! I have placed a Reserve on the album, something I rarely do, but this record is SO RARE, I'm certain that there will be lots of interest.
