Description

Unbelievably rare promotional record for the newly-launched mellotron in the mid-60s – the revolutionary instrument made famous by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues and more. Hand-typed and hand-stuck labels show that this is actually an acetate cut direct to disc from the master tape at the legendary IBC sound recording studios, making this a unique copy (only a handful would have been cut in this way as an initial test).

Condition is good. Record is clean, with some crackle but nothing that diminishes the unique nature of this record. A little piece of music history!

Comes in new plain white sleeve.
