Description
Described as the "forefathers of grunge" and feted by Nirvana, the influential Seattle trio released this in the UK in November 1992 under the name 'Lysol' before the American cleaning product company forced them to remove their trademark name from the release. It then became an eponymous release.
Early copies such as this one made it on to the market with the offending name redacted, in this case with a black sticker on the right hand margin of the front sleeve and a black marker pen on the spine. No mention of this is made in the press release though.
No tracklisting, but mentions of the two cover versions. (Flipper and Alice Cooper)
Released through Boner/Tupelo (BR35-1/TUP42-1)
Sleeve slightly scuffed at the corners but vinyl in very good condition.
