Description

You are bidding on one of the most rarest autographs in Hollywood....it's a postcard from Meredith Willson, who wrote the Award Winning Book "The Music Man" & he also wrote the Music & Lyrics to this iconic Broadway show as well.

This postcard is dated June 17, 1977 I believe...hard to tell the year but I see a definite 7 at the end. He is writing to 2 dear friends of his and his wife, the Doemling sisters. The postcard is titled "The Meredith Willson Foot Bridge" in Mason City, Iowa...the Music Man is set in Iowa, so they named the bridge after him.

This is guaranteed to pass any authentication as any autograph I sell.

As for the condition of the postcard...I would grade it Very Good. It has a piece of tape stuck to it by the mailing address (which I covered on purpose to protect the people's privacy). There is also a small piece of tape stuck on the front side by the word Mason, where it reads, "Greetings from Mason City, Iowa." Please just look at the photos I provided.

This is a true piece of music/show industry history.....very rarely do you get an opportunity to purchase an autograph from this talented person who also wrote the music & lyrics for the classic "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and "Here's Love" based off of Miracle On 34th Street.
