Description
Up for auction is a metal collectors' ultimate package. First is the ultra rare Messiah lp "Going Insane". Record plays fine and is VG - condition. The cover is also VG - and has most of the original shrink still on it. Second is a test pressing of the bands other lp "Final Warning " with no cover and changes made in pen on the inner sleeve that the band obviously wanted done. This test pressing is in VG+ condition and plays fine. Third is a one sided acetate that is in a plain white cover and labeled Messiah Side B Flat Transfer AHAD PS-1114-B only. I gave it a spin and it is also from the "Final Warning" lp. The final piece of the pie is a full acetate from A and M Mastering Studios of the full "Final Warning" lp. Both of these acetates play fine with minimal noise but as you know acetates were only meant to be played for a few spins. Included in the package is a letter from Record Technology Inc Dated 4-9-85 stating that "here is your test pressing of matrix PS-1114 and that it has ticks at the start of the first and second songs that can not be corrected ". This has been signed by the quality control dept. One can only assume that these records were either from one of the band members or from a member of their management or record company. Items like this do not come up for auction very often so don't miss out! Note: I will only ship this item with a tracking number and insurance and please do not ask me to lie about the value for customs!
