Up for auction is a second pressing of the original Metal Massacre LP. This record is famous mainly because it contains the first official recording of metallic. What's even more special is this line of Metallica is the original lineup up James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney, and Lars Ulrich.
This is not the first pressing of the record which how to track by the band Ratt and Steeler as you can see on the pic of the back of the record in which the record producers thank the bands "Steeler and Ratt who originally appeared on this album". The first pressing also misspelled Metallica's name.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. This would make an amazing Christmas present for any Metallica fan. As you can tell from the pictures, the record itself is in great condition. The sleeve for the record is in pretty good shape although it does have its blemishes.
