Description
Metallica - ...And Justice For All double vinyl lp. Fourth album. Original release.
First Pressing. Vertigo Records VERH 61. 1988.
Kept in a PVC cover and owned from new.
Condition with reference to 'Record Collector' magazines' grading system*:
- The album cover is in 'excellent' condition. Picture surfaces are clean and unmarked. No rips, bends, significant creases or tears. Very very light and very few edge creases. Carefully handled, stored upright and kept in a pvc cover (included).
- The inner sleeves are black and printed with Pushead art, pics and lyrics. I see some on sale with generic white ones. Don't know what that's all about but this was bought on the day of release. In 'excellent' condition with no tears.
- The vinyl is in 'very good' condition. There is some light surface marking and a little crackling between tracks and in quieter sections as it was played, but there are no repetitive clicks or jumps and no deep scratches.
(* 'Mint': The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
'Excellent': The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
'Very Good': The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
'Good': The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably detereorated, perhaps with some distortion or mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of the edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
'Fair': The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
'Poor': The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
'Bad': The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.)
