Description

An original 1988 1st Press on VERTIGO for the UK market. Matrix A3/B1 C1/D2. Etching 'Masterdisk/DMM'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We also have the bespoke inner sleeves. We will ship in generic inner sleeves.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and have clearly only ever seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intro and inbetweens are perfectly quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. As a clean a copy of JUSTICE as I've heard. Not a whisper of background anywhere. I can crank it all the way up and it will just keep dishing out clean raw power. Clean signalled into the lower key tracks. There's little to take issue with really. The only deviation I can make out is in the low-key acoustic guitar intro to side 4. A mark is causing some issue briefly. The acoustic guitar starts on a pop. I then get a couple of clicks. The issue, then, seems to fade and I get a further couple of low-level ticks. It then goes clean as the big drums kick in and the track starts proper. If you can live with this one issue the rest of the four sides is absolute top level stuff.
Cover (Ex) A superbly preserved cover. Many examples are gonna get a bit creased, dinged corners, or ageing. However, this example, is retaining most of its original 1st day looks. Surfaces are perfectly flat and smooth without creasing or ageing. The corners are still nice and pointy. The openings are still firm and sharp. Hardly any edge wear - except for one isolated spot. In the middle of the top edge there's a one inch wear-through patch. I have tape repaired very neatly. This is, now, merely a minor [difficult to spot] cosmetic issue. The spine is 100% intact and the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inners (Ex/Ex-) No splits. One exhibits just a touch of very light handling.
