Payment & Bidding

I ask that all bidders and buyers comply with the terms and conditions of the Ebay agreements and act in an ethical manner and in good faith which includes the following.

• BIDDING: Please, do not bid if you don’t or won’t actually want the item should yours be the winning bid.
  • I will not “cancel” bids upon the request of buyers/bidders for any reason. If you wish to retract your bid please do not ask me to "cancel" it to avoid a record of retracting bids placed on your Ebay record.  
• PAYMENT: Payment is expected within 3 days of the close of sale or commitment to buy with BuyItNow  feature.
• PAYMENT METHODS: I accept payment only through Paypal. I DO NOT accept requests for COD purchases.  I do not offer goods “On Approval”. Items will be shipped ONLY after full payment is received and cleared.  Holds placed on the transfer of funds after purchase by any means, including a PayPal transfer with a hold placed on the funds, will be considered to be a cancellation of your bid.

Shipping

• Shipping Price listed includes all Shipping & Handling costs. Buyer Pays Actual Shipping Charges From 08016.
• Items will usually ship within 3 days after we receive cleared payment. (I usually ship items on Tuesdays and Fridays) 
• Handling charges:  Handling charges may be added to certain items as part of shipping cost. These include - extra packaging costs, insurance, tracking, and delivery confirmation methods as may be required to ensure safe delivery of expensive merchandise.  All items over $25 will be insured when not automatically provided by the carrier.
• Expensive and fragile items will be shipped by a method requiring a signature to confirm delivery as per Ebay & PayPal seller requirements. If for some reason you are unwilling to sign to confirm delivery of an expensive or fragile item then I ask you please do not bid or purchase.

International Shipping Terms

• There is no free shipping on international orders.
• If your country is listed as ship to but rates are not given please contact me for Shipping & Handling rates. I will gladly provide Shipping rates and detailed Handling costs.
• Ebay and PayPal recommend/require shipping insurance and delivery confirmation for buyer and seller protection. PayPal requires delivery confirmation for verification of delivery & release of funds. I include these on all items valued over $25 USD as part of the handling charges. Expensive items will ONLY be shipped by a rapid, secure carrier such as UPS or USPS Priority Mail to ensure the transaction is finalised quickly and positively.
•  I will not ship items to countries not listed as “Shipping to” countries…please do not ask me. I do not ship certain items (usually precious metals, stones, leather products) to certain countries due to excessive amounts of Customs & Import regulations and the associated costs to Buyers.
• Handling charges for shipments Outside the US may be higher due to extra paperwork involved or increased rates on international insurance, delivery tracking/confirmation, as applicable.
• Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
• International Buyers need to be aware of any import costs, tariffs, duties, or taxes before purchasing as these are the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER and not calculated into the Shipping or Handling Costs listed in the Ebay Shipping cost calculator. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
  • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them with additional shipping charges.
• Items that are declined after international shipment due to the Buyer refusing to accept import duties, tariffs, taxes, etc. will be recalled and the Buyer will be refunded what they have paid minus ALL Shipping, Return Shipping, and Import Costs levied on the item in order to return it to the seller (myself).
• I will not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - US and International government regulations prohibit such behaviour.

Returns

•  Sorry there are no returns on this item. All sales final.

Fraudulent Claims to Facilitate Returns

• Fraudulent claims made by buyers in order to facilitate returns, to circumvent Ebay policies, or in furtherance of a criminal act (returning a fake in place of an original) may result in one or more of the following: Official claim against buyer with Ebay, Civil Litigation, Criminal Charges (State and Federal).
• Individuals who falsify claims in a complaint may be investigated by means of various resources to determine personal credibility and if past history of criminal activity or internet fraud exists.
