Description
Metallica Master of Puppets First Specialty Records Pressing 1986 Vinyl LP. Vinyl (NM) - This LP is fantastic! LP has been dusted, wet-cleaned using the Spin-Clean system, and play-graded. Visibly there is not a scratch on it, and I viewed it under strong lighting. Vinyl is flat and plays without skipping. Nearly zero surface noise, just a very little in the run-in and run-out grooves. Otherwise, this sounds like it was just opened. Labels are in great shape, no spindle marks. This is a first pressing by Specialty Records Corporation as per the runouts, the presence of E A S T around the B-side center hole's inner pressing ring, and the catalog numbers at the bottom of the labels ending in -SP. Side A runout: STE-60439-A-DMM1 SPO-1 SM1-2 Sterling Sound - DMM-1 ED M1 SF1 SM1 (all etched) Side B runout: STE-60439-B-DMM1 SPO-1 SM1-2 Sterling Sound - DMM-1 ED M1 SF1 SM1 (all etched) Cover - (VG+) Cover is clean and shows only very little wear. Just the beginnings of ring wear at the very top of the front and back. No cutouts, no writing, no tape, and all seams are intact. Original inner sleeve included is in good shape but for a 1" split on one side and a 3-4" split on the other. Cover, inner sleeve, and LP will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve. The record will be shipped in a new plain white inner for protection and to prevent further splitting of the original inner sleeve.
