Description

One – Metallica 7” vinyl (1989)

You are bidding on the original 1989 UK release of Metallica’s classic single “One”. This is the 7” (45rpm) version. Given the age of the record (19 years) it is in very good condition, specifically:

Record: VG - Light scratches although no major marks that would be likely to affect play

Outer sleeve / cover: Excellent – no signs of any marks or tears

Inner sleeve: N/A

Catalog number: METP 5 (Vertigo / Phonogram)

Origin: UK

As strange as it sounds, I collect LPs but don’t actually own a record player. I therefore can’t confirm how well the record plays and whether there is any skipping. I do my best to identify any visible marks that may affect the play and have tried to describe these as honestly as possible, above.

As with all my items, you are bidding on the item shown in the picture – not a stock photo.

I always combine P&P for multiple purchases, making the cost considerably cheaper. I will ship up to 4 or 5 LPs together. Each additional LP will be around + AUS$ 5 per LP. The LPs vary in weight a lot so please email me details of all LPs you are interested in and I will provide a P&P quote based on the actual weight and packaging as it may in fact be cheaper. The more you win, the cheaper shipping is!

I usually visit the post office twice a week (sorry – I do work so can’t make it to the post office every day).

This item will be shipped directly from the UK, where I am based. The item will be posted by airmail, which should take 3-5 days to reach any destination in the World, although please allow longer if there are delays due to customs etc. The condition of the LPs is clearly described in my listing and in the photos. The items will be packaged well and marked as “FRAGILE” to try to ensure they stay this way. Regular airmail provides compensation up to £36 (around AUS$79), however additional insurance can be provided if the value of the LP exceeds this. I always obtain proof of posting however I am also happy to post items “signed for” at a cost (see table below) for additional peace of mind.

The buyer assumes responsibilty for any additional taxes / duties arising.

If your LP is, for any reason, damaged during shipping, please contact me to arrange compensation before leaving negative feedback. I will photograph items before sending in order to prove to the postal services that the damage was incurred during transit should the need to claim compensation arise.

Postage & Packaging

I always obtain proof of posting when sending packages. If you would prefer recorded delivery, this can be provided for an additional cost. I do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post if the winning bidder does not opt for the package to be signed for upon receipt.

I also combine postage for multiple items being sent at the same time. Please email me for exact discounts, based on the packages being combined.

Returns Policy

I do not accept any returns as all items I sell are known to be working and the condition is clearly described in the listing. I aim to provide sufficient information about the item in order to ensure that you are confident about the specification and condition of the item before bidding. Please email me any questions you have and I shall aim to reply within 24 hours.

International Bidders

Bidders from any country are welcome. If you opt for standard airmail (and not signed for), I will not be responsible if the item goes missing. The buyer also assumes responsibility for any additional taxes / charges incurred by the relevant customs authority. Standard airmail only offers compensation up to £36 (around AUS $79). I would therefore recommend additional insurance at a cost of AUS $5 on items in excess of this value.
