Description

METALLICA  -  RIDE THE LIGHTNING  -  (MFN-27)

1984 Music For Nations beige label.  There is no bar-code.  Praed Street, London W2 address printed across the bottom on the back.  Song 3 side A still has the title misspelling as "For Whom the Bells Toll" which was quickly corrected to For Whom the Bell Tolls.  The original inner sleeve is in superb condition with all pictures and text intact.  I am not a record dealer so I am not comfortable giving it a grade. Hopefully there are enough pictures to show what you need to see.  The sleeve is perfectly intact, no rips, no damage and almost no traces of wear. The pictures and colours are clear, bright and shiny.

The vinyl is in superb shape, better even than some new LP's I have brought home in recent years.  There are no scratches and no damage.  The labels show none of the usual spindle marks and rubs.  The sound is fantastic!! This is the best press of Ride The Lightning I have ever heard.  The sound has perfect sound balance, including bass! Its not muddy as many copies you will find. To my ears this is also FAR better sounding than the 2LP that was pressed some years later.

This is by far the BEST copy of Ride the Lightning that I have ever seen or heard!!
