Méga rare édition américaine d'époque (34835-1G).
Voici l'exceptionnel Picture Disc PROMO 33t des Jacksons sorti en édition limitée et en exclusivité auprès des radios et professionnels du disque aux USA en 1978 pour promouvoir l'album "Goin Places" (disque jamais sorti dans le commerce). Aussi connu sous le nom de "Petrol Pump" Picture Disc, cet article officiel est extrêmement rare ! Fabriqué par PIC-VEU Records, un sous-traitant d'Epic (maison de disque des Jacksons), qui à l'époque ne pressait pas elle-même ses Picture Discs.
Photo identique sur chaque face.
NEUF !!! Vendu sous cellophane (film plastique un peu déchiré) dans la très rare pochette cartonnée rouge d'origine (avec tracklisting/credits au dos). EXTREMEMENT RARE !!!

US-only 9-track Goin' Places promotional release; also called the 'petrol pump' picture disc, this very rare official Jacksons 12" picture disc was released in the USA in 1978 as a promotional item to push the new signing on major radio stations and chart return record dealers. Limited edition. Same front/back colour photo, identical to the standard album cover artwork. At the time, Epic didn't print picture discs. Thus it was officially done by an outside pressing plant. That explains a small company logo of the manufacturer ("Pic Veu Records") printed onto each side of the disc.
New condition. Still has plastic wrap (a bit torn apart) on the original red die-cut display sleeve featuring tracklisting/credits on rear. EXTREMELY RARE !!!
