This is the EXTREMELY RARE FIRST pressing with the controversial language in the “They Don’t Care About Us track”!!!

· Since this EXTREMELY RARE special collectible set has NEVER BEEN PLAYED, no need to give you a description of the playing care its’ received over the years, other than to say it has been stored carefully in my Per-Madsen record storage cabinet in a temperature and humidity controlled environment (if you want a description, check out my OTHER AUCTIONS!)

Anyone who’s followed my auctions knows I like to tell a little story about my stuff:
I happened across this rare first-pressing boxed set at Compact Disc World during a CD purchasing expedition years ago, being unaware that the set had been released on vinyl. Vinyl records were a dying industry at the time, with everyone buying CDs, and to find a vinyl recording of anything besides DJ stuff and esoteric stuff which didn’t interest me was highly unusual. I have always been an avid record collector and listener, and was mourning the apparent death of my favorite aspect of the hobby. I was delighted to find it and, moreover, since it was controversial and already discontinued (to be replaced with the updated, non-disparaging“They Don’t Care About Us” track), and there were two of them, I bought both of them (one to play and one to collect), but somehow never got around to unsealing and playing either of them (depending on how this auction goes, I may list the other one, or accept a reasonable offer for it). This is the better of the two, the shrink-wrapping on the other being torn in a couple of places; which is why I can certify that this edition is in absolutely 100% mint condition.
This is one of 6 vinyl records in my Michael Jackson collection. I don’t listen to any of them anymore (and as stated previously, has NEVER been listened to), and, in memory of the Late – Great Michael Jackson, I offer this collectible to someone who will cherish and care for it and use it.
