Description
Posting this for a friend who is cleaning out family estate. Record has been used, stored and cared for by them. Based on research: The 1982 Michael Jackson Thriller vinyl (catalog number QE 38112) is a highly sought-after first pressing by Epic Records. It is famous for a "misprint" or "error" version where the back cover only lists Quincy Jones as producer, rather than both Jones and Jackson. Album has not been played for many years and has been stored as indicated above. Regular wear and tear based on age and use. Vinyl itself will probably need to be cleaned, nothing major stands out as damaged on the record itself to me. The outer sleeve has some regular wear and tear, scratches, etc. the inner sleeve has some wear and tear rips, etc. It seems on the lower right hand back corner. There is some type of writing imprinted Or etched probably from someone leaning on it. please see pictures for details.
