Michael Jackson / Thriller
Japan Audiophile Edition LP
CBS 30P - 431
Appendices: "Silver-OBI”, “Outer-Cover”, “Inner G/F Cover” & “Booklet”
Description: This is scarce Japanese Audiophile Edition copy of their masterpiece album, coming with complete appendices. AD on obi says “Digital Mastering” in its upper portion, while “MASTER SOUND” letter is printed on obi, inner-bag & each label. Gate-fold inner-cover is housed in outer-cover with the insert & booklet. It’s hard to find Japanese audiophile copy of this album even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Condition: VG+/NM ( Outer Cover / Disc )
OUTER-COVER: Outer cover is good in condition, except for partly creased & worn top-edge & corners. It’s lightly scraped on the left of back, with minor creases on the top-rim of front. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip, stain & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. It has a few spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as “NM”. No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, I guarantee you.
OBI: VG, being vertically creased on the surface of back.
INSERT: VG+ each, being lightly creased in places on each side.
BOOKLET: VG, being creased in places on the surface of each page.
G/F COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for light brown stain in the middle of front. It’s slightly scraped on the surface of front & back, with slight ring-wear on the back. Otherwise it has no tear, edge-wear, dent, strip, stain & writing...OK.
