RARE Michael McDonald Pre-Doobie Brothers A&M/Bell Records Test Pressing Set (1971–1973) – Studio Tracks
Up for sale is an extremely rare and historically significant set of four original test pressings featuring Michael McDonald (credited as Mike McDonald) from Bell Records and A&M Records, dating before his tenure with the Doobie Brothers and long before his solo stardom.
These 7” acetates/test pressings are dated between 1971 and 1973 Produced in limited quantities—likely for internal label use—these are original studio artifacts from McDonald’s earliest professional recordings.
