Michel Magne – Bande Sonore Originale Du Film 'La Ronde' (Soundtrack Vinyl LP) (1964)
Rare French import soundtrack. It was released as 'Circle of Love' in the USA.
The movie (1964, dir. Roger Vadim) featured Jean-Claude Brialy, Francine Bergé, Marie Dubois, Jane Fonda, Claude Giraud, Anna Karina, Bernard Noël, Maurice Ronet, Jean Sorel and Catherine Spaak.

The cover features a superb photo of the young Jane Fonda.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
VINYL: G. A number of superficial scuffs/hairlines on visual inspection but clean with no soiling. Played just pre-listing and runs through fine with no skipping or sticking. Some surface noise, clicks in places.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: F-G. Colours are unfaded and clean. Front gloss image is clean showing the striking image of Jane Fonda. Some light scuffs and creases and slight disc outline present. Top edge is clean and undamaged, bottom edge shows no major wear except for a long split in centre. Spine is pinched but shows damage in various places and a few splits. Spine corners are slightly rubbed and dented. Top right corner shows more significant wear. Bottom right corner is part missing/torn. Aperture is bowed and shows significant wear/soiling through much handling. 3cm tear halfway up in from aperture on front cover. Discolouration on reverse but flipbacks clean/intact.
INNER SLEEVE: F-G. Original. Tissue-like translucent sleeve. One edge is split, one corner torn, creasing.

About the film:
In Paris during the summer of 1914 a succession of brief liaisons begins and ends with a soldier and a tart, but on the way moves humourously and sometimes poignantly through a fascinating panorama of society and of attitudes to love.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
