Description

Fellow audiophiles up for consideration is a one of the rarest and most desirable pressings from Mick Abraham's. This album was the sophomore effort from the Mick Abraham's Band. The former Front man from Blodwyn Pig and original lead guitarist from Jethro Tull assembled this hard rocking blues band with fellow musicians Bob Sargeant (key boards), Jack Lancaster (Sax), Richie Dharma (Drums) and Walt Monaghan (Bass). This Jazz influenced style of Blues Rock is the direction Mick had always wanted to pursue with both of his former bands. The album was a UK release in 1972 on the Chrysalis Label. The album cover is an extremely rare circular die cut pattern that unfolds and is quite unusual. I have only played the record twice, once to transfer to tape when initially purchased and again today to test for play rating. The record plays exceptionally well as one might expect. Side one is near perfect but visually there is an ever so minor scuff on side two, it appears to be from removing it from the inner sleeve. While playing it is only slightly noticeable between the second and third track. Most listeners are not as demanding as me and I would give the album a near mint rating if not for the one minor issue. My ebay feedback score shows my high level of integrity. The album cover is in excellent condition and is completely intact despite the delicate but interesting design, it does show some slight signs of wear at the folds but over all for its 43 plus years of age is in remarkable condition. I have always kept the record in a mostly dust free smoke free and climate controlled environment (not a warehouse). Feel free to contact me with any further questions regarding the condition. I usually respond the same day. Thanks for looking. USA Shipping Only.
