All my records are seller owned from new. They are all around 40-50 years old. Consequently, they are all used and the condition reflects this.
I have graded them by sight only, using the UK Record Collector Magazine’s Grading System (below)

Mint / New - this would not be applicable to any of my original vinyl collection.
Excellent - Played but no deterioration in sound quality and cover would only have very minor wear and tear if any.
Very Good - Some surface marks but no great deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on cover.
Good - The record has been played so much that sound quality has deteriorated perhaps with some distortion and /or minor scratches. Cover may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine splits.
Fair - The record is just playable but has not been cared for and sleeve will be damaged, torn or stained.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. Cover will be torn, stained or defaced.
I may use + or - against gradings to reflect as accurate a condition as possible.
