Item Description
This is a great item & a rare New Wave of British Heavy Metal single by the UK band Midas issued in 1983. ‘Can’t Stop Loving You Now’ / ‘Power in the Sky’ (Small Run Records SRR 0008) a small private label. Power in the Sky is a classic. A great record in superb condition and very rare.
Apparently a few were issued in a limited hand made picture sleeve. This copy does NOT have the original PS. However, a majority were in fact issued without the PS. So this is the way most will turn up. But remember, According to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal Encyclopedia only a few hundred copies were pressed of this single. So it’s not going to turn up often. You should grab this rare item while you have the chance. There is NO reserve on this item, so bid away & be lucky.
The condition is Great. The labels are EX to NM. There are literally 3 or 4 spider marks on each side around the spindle hole. The vinyl is a stunning Near Mint and the music plays loud & clear. Just right for the loud guitars & screaming vocals. Please see scans of both labels. Postage is £2 for recorded delivery to UK customers, although I would recommend special delivery at £4.50.
Shipping is £2.50 to European customers & £3.50 to customers from the Rest of the World. I would strongly recommend signed for postage including insurance to all overseas customers. This will be extra to the prices quoted above. I can quote a price to you once I know what country you are in. Please contact me for a quote.
