Description

Rare US issue of material recorded in London 1958.

With "RVG" stamp and Plastylite 'Ear'/P in deadwax signifying master by Rudy Van Gelder and press at Plastylite factory of Blue Note/Prestige fame.

Visually, it is high luster with minor inaudible paper marks and small non-feelable scratches. Plays very well with nice audio, but with light surface wear/groove noise that puts the play grade conservatively between VG and VG+.

Cleaned on Nitty Gritty machine and resleeved.

Glossy fronted cover is mostly solid and displays well, but is probably more a firm VG than anything higher. The top seam is thinly split about halfway from the corner. Spine wear. Please see photos.
