This is NOT a re-release ... this is an ORIGINAL 1969 release on the Head record label.
Recently re-released - this is an incredibly rare opportunity to get hold of a superb original copy of the now legendary Mighty Baby's first album, released on the tiny Head label. The record and sleeve are in excellent condition. I haven't seen a copy listed on eBay for years ... copies on Discogs are listed at £300 plus for VG - this copy is Excellent.

Might Baby formed out the 'mod' band The Action. The change of personnel and name signalled a huge change in direction - they produced one of the most highly acclaimed psychedelic debut LPs in 1969. The album contains several classics, including the revolutionary opener Egyptian Tomb, the pounding A friend you know but never see and the moody I've been down so long. Side 2 opens with the Neil Youngesque guitar of House without windows and closes with the aching At a point between fate and destiny.

Vinyl is in excellent condition - plays beautifully and clearly with no clicks or surface noise. The sound quality is excellent even in the quietest sections. There is one slight visual mark on side one - but it does not have any audible sound.
Gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition - not a laminated cover but very little wear in any areas (see pictures)
Label - no marks.
Inner sleeve - excellent with plastic liner. Small initials "JR" and sticker "38" ... my brother - his 38th record purchase!
The record will be carefully packaged with cardboard stiffeners and plastic sleeve. It will be sent fully insured and recorded delivery No quibble return if not completely satisfied.
