Mighty Baby - Mighty Baby LP.  Head. HDLS6002. 1969. The matrices in the dead wax read: HOLS 6002A-2 *T HOLS 6002B-2 *T EIL RECORDS HAVE ONLY SEEN THIS LABEL ONCE BEFORE!? The first press of this debut by the London-based group that evolved from mod gods The Action,  released on the mysterious Head label.
A1. Egyptian Tomb A2. A Friend You Know But Never See A3. I've Been Down So Long A4. Same Way From The Sun B1. House Without Windows B2. Trials Of A City B3. I'm From The Country B4. At A Point Between Fate And Destiny CONDITION= RECORD= VERY GOOD++, IT PLAYS PERFECTLY - BUT VISUALLY THERE ARE SCUFFS (AND PEOPLE SEEM  TO GRADE RECORDS MORE VISUALLY THAN PLAYABILITY?) COVER= VERY GOOD+, IT IS REALLY SOLID, BUT THE BLACK HAS WORN SLIGHTLY ON THE EDGES, SEE  PHOTO FOR SPINE WHICH IS STILL NEARLY LEGIBLE.  IT SEEMS TO BE QUITE A RARE LP?
I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES FOR DESCRIPTION Record Collectors Grading System

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some
distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc..

  1. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
