Mighty Sphincter-The New Manson Family 1986 US LP Placebo Records: I must admit I never really knew how to take these guys, though this is a unique record in both presentation and execution. Claimed (falsely) to have been produced by Alice Cooper, which I remember at the time believing as they were both Arizona based, and Alice had yet to fully realize his mid-80s career comeback. This copy is complete with both the lyric insert and Placebo catalog, and is a remarkably well preserved example of this slab of experimental goth rock.
