MIGHTY THREES
AFRICA SHALL STRETCH
FORTH HER HAND
original 1978 pressing
A fantastically deep roots reggae album from The Mighty Threes entitled AFRICA SHALL STRETCH FORTH HER HAND. Released in 1978 these tunes are some of the finest ever recorded in all of reggae music. Somewhat in the vein of another amazing three part harmony vocal group of the same era Israel Vibration, Mighty Threes deliver the goods in shot after hot shot. Highlights include the absolutely stunning "Rasta Business" and their original selection "Sata". "Sinking In The Mist" is another terrific track as is "Nearer To Africa", "Back Yard Movement" and two others. Talk about 'all killer, no filler,' this lp sets the standard for the definition of that phrase. You will be hard pressed to find another three part harmony lp as solid as this landmark album.</.font color=green> Original April Records vinyl is in excellent condition with no skips, no scratches, no warp. Its cover is in excellent shape with no seam splits, one slight corner bend, & very minor disc imprints (see photos). text on covers & disc:"THE MIGHTY THREES"

Rastaman if you are a Rast let's unite, but if you are a Rascal you shall not enter into Jah's chosen land, Africa.
I am not here to judge or be judged; but every knee shall bow and every tongue confess.
The Lion of Judah shall break every chain and Jah is victor again.
If Rome fell all else shall fall.
And Africa shall stretch forth her hands JAH.
Did you prepare yourself to go down with Babylon.
Bow down tine Ear, O Jah heAr me: For I am poor and needy.
God bless America, Africa and love to all countries, one God, one aim, one Destiny.
Black brothers in the suburbs, remember you were once in the ghetto too.
We the black people of the world was born rich -
Look at all riches that Africa has in it and we are scattered all over the world, fighting for nickels and dimes.
All things are vanity: Just as youth fades away,
Everything shall fade away,
Only the love of Jah is everlasting.
An Active mind is a great mind,
A sleeping mind is a dead mind,
It cannot be changed or cared for.
The only thing that cannot be cleaned is a dirty mind.
Africa is a holy place, no sin can never enter there. Jah, Jah, Jah.
If we don't remember our past,
How can we look for a future or a present?
Without a past, there is no present or future.
I remember when you used to call us dirty people.
But now even your son is a rasta, and your daughter wants to marry a rasta.
Jah words must come to pass.
Wake up black people you have been sleeping too long. SC & JC.
And a little child shall lead the way. Rasta.
Self-reliance is the key to a happy life.
Where is your love Black people?
My rasta brothers, put down your guns and let love be your vessel to Africa.
The so called ghetto should not be for the use of drugs, but a place where we should plan to work in a normal society. SC & JC.
