Description
Miles Davis - Blue Haze - Esquire 32-088 - 12" LP issued in 1960 - compilation of tracks recorded in 1953 and 1954 originally issued on Prestige PRLP 7054 in 1956. It includes the version of Four with solos by Miles Davis and Horace Silver that later had words put to them by Jon Hendricks
Media: VG+ overall grading but please read on. As can often be found with vintage records, the crackles and pops that are noticeable in the first tracks of each side, subside on the remaining tracks. Track 1 on Side 1 has the worst quality including a skip of about half a bar at the start of the alto solo but there are hardly any crackles at all on tracks 2 to 4. Overall the music shines through beautifully, a perfect example of why one would choose vinyl.
Sleeve: Plain sleeve only as purchased 2nd hand by the seller in 1962. Labels: VG++
Inner Sleeve: VG+ polythene inner sleeve added to original plain sleeve.
Record and sleeve (separately) will be packed in a standard record mailer with double cardboard stiffeners and posted worldwide by standard tracked service
