Description
Cannonball Adderley 'Somethin' Else' LP Blue Note 1595 from 1958
A copy of this rare and very collectible original Blue Note LP from 1958 complete with matrix numbers:
- Matrix / Runout (Label Side 1): BN 1595-A
- Matrix / Runout (Label Side 2): BN 1595-B
- Matrix / Runout (Runout Side 1): BN-LP-1595-A 2
- Matrix / Runout (Runout Side 2): BN-LP-1595-B + 9M
The 'ear' symbol is present in the run out grooves of both sides also Blue Note Records Inc. 47 West 63rd. NYC addresses on both sides of the inner label.
The RVG stamp is also present. I'm fairly sure this a second pressing.
The sleeve is in excellent condition apart from a very small mark on the lower edge.
The spine is in lovely condition too - see the pics.
Both labels are clean with minimal spindle wear.
The original Blue Note inner sleeve is included. The vinyl has quite a few marks on both sides though it plays really well on both sides with very minimal background noise. There is one 'jump' about two minutes into side 2.
A lovely, clean sounding record.
