Description
Prestige 7094 yellow label, deep groove with 446 W. 50th St., NYC address on both labels; 449 West 50th St., New York 19, NY address on the bottom of the back cover. Includes John Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Philly Joe Jones, drums. 5 tracks. Original 12” LP issue. Cover: VG to VG+. 6” scotch tape repair on top edge. A small amount of corner wear. Some aging on the front cover. Somewhat more on the back cover. Record: VG. Visually shows moderate wear with some surface rub marks on both sides. Side A has some crackling and some clicks on all tracks. The noise is not continuous but clearly audible. There are no scratches on either side. Side B is in much better condition. While it shows some rub marks, the noise is almost entirely eliminated. Because of the distinct differences on each side, it is difficult to grad. I chose VG so as not to disappoint anyone. Side B is closer to Mint(-). Except for some repeated light clicks at the very end of track 3. Audibly checked.
