Description
Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL 1961 copy of Miles Davis In Person Friday Night at the Blackhawk, San Francisco Volume 1, on Columbia CS-8469. The record label is the classic black, red and white Columbia "six-eye" logo, with side 1 stamped with "XSM 53550-1G" and side 2 with "XSM 53551-1J"
Sleeve: NM-, with some very minor scuffing of the front cover near the bottom, a small section of dog-earing on the top, left corner, and a very small #2 printed on the back cover towards the bottom (almost unnoticeable). Otherwise the spine is intact and the color of the front cover is outstanding.
Record: NM-, with some very slight scuffing on both sides due to being pulled out of the sleeve.I am a university professor of music here in the US who inherited this and other records (Columbia, Blue Note, Prestige, Bethlehem, Riverside, Norgran, etc.) from a collector a few years back. I am looking to sell off some of these records to collectors/audiophiles who can get more enjoyment out of them than I can.
