Description

This is Columbia Records CL1268, Miles Davis Jazz Track, a red and black deep groove, 6 eye label, original mono issue featuring on one side, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, and Wynton Kelly (including the classic "On Green Dolphin Street"), and on the other the soundtrack to L'Ascenseur Pour L'echafaud.  The matrix numbers 2AH/2E are in the dead wax.  The record is in near mint minus condition with only  a very few light paper sleeve marks (which do not effect the play) keeping it from being near mint.  The record  plays quietly throughout, except for an occasional, isolated, random pop or two on the soundtrack side. The labels are perfect. The cover has a star stamp on the back but is near mint. This is a superb collector's grade copy of  this classic session offered with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
