Description

18 records by John Coltrane and Miles Davis. These are all new pressings from OJC, Blue Note, Impulse, and Columbia. Some are 180g (see details below).

These are unsealed and have been played once. Kept in a smoke-free environment. The records are all in VG+ to EX condition. Some of the records may have a minor flaw or two the don't effect play- a scuff here, a little scratch there, a fingerprint or two or dust (easily removed with a decent cleaning fluid and brush). The sleeves are all pretty much perfect except for the occassional corner that is slightly creased- basically in as good condition as you can get for unsealed new records sitting on a shelf.

Basically these aren't for hardcore obsessive collectors looking for everything in perfect condition (in which case I wouldn't recommend buying from ebay anyway). But these are as good as you can get if you want to kick-start your jazz vinyl collection. The sound quality on all of these are considered excellent- none of those inferior mastering jobs that infect so many new pressings.

The albums:

1. Miles Davis- Dig; OJC-005 (P-7012)

2. Miles Davis All Stars- Walkin'; OJC-213 (P-7076)

3. Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants- Bags' Groove

4. Miles Davis- Milestones; Columbia, 180g

5. Miles Davis- Sketches of Spain; Columbia, 200g

6. Miles Davis- E.S.P.; Columbia, 180g

7. Miles Davis- Miles Smiles; Columbia, 180g

8. Miles Davis- Nefertiti; Columbia, 180g

9. Miles Davis- The Sorceror; Columbia, 180g

10. Kenny Burrell & John Coltrane; OJC-300 (NJ-8276)

11. John Coltrane- Coltrane (the Prestige album, not the Impulse! one); OCJ-020 (P-7105)
