Description

Miles Davis [with John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb] KIND OF BLUE. Columbia CS 8163, recorded 1959. Stereo original release—6-eyes red/black stereo label.  Disc may in fact never have been played, play-graded M-.  Original inner sleeve was handled at least a little bit, torn and scotch-taped for about 3” at bottom.  Jacket is NM-/VG+:  ring-wear visible at bottom.  Back cover has a 2-gram pod of play-doh (looks like) affixed to it. Easily scraped off—by you.

 


Here’s the first of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
