Miles Davis - Lift To The Scaffold / Jazz Track (Fontana TFL 5081 Mono). Side one features the Miles Davis Quintet with tracks from the French film soundtrack L'Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud (Lift To The Scaffold). Side two features tracks from the Miles Davis Sextet.
Vinyl is VG. Visually pretty good with not a lot of marking on it just some fine lines here and there. There is some crackling throughout but it's not continuous and rarely interferes with the music and there are some quiet passages on this record that come through nicely. Has pops and clicks and the odd buzzy bit which could be down to ingrained dirt in the grooves as the vinyl visually looks decent for its age. A proper deep clean might benefit the record. Overall a nice listen. Sleeve is Good. The flipback sleeve is looking its age and has a inch split on the top open edge. The opening edge is feathering and also the laminate is starting to lift here. Front looks bumpy probably from some previous storage in a damp area (no apparent ongoing damp issues e.g. no signs of mould inside or out). One part of the top flipback is starting to lift but some glue will sort that out.
