This is an original 1975 Japanese edition of Pangaea issued by CBS/Sony. The last – and in my opinion most brilliant – of Miles’s ‘70s recordings. Two long tracks of spaced out dark acid guitar funk genius (Zimbabwe and Gondwana). Featuring Sonny Fortune, Pete Cosey, Reggie Lucas, Michael Henderson, Al Foster and Mtume. Vinyl and sleeve all VG to VG+. The discs play perfectly, and sound beautiful (gotta love those ‘70s Japanese pressings). The gatefold sleeve is something to behold as well, in all its full color ‘70s glory. ***Please Note: Shipping will be $5.00 in the US (media mail w/delivery confirmation in an LP mailer)***; $9.00 to Canada; $13.00 elsewhere.
