Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Miles Davis Quartet 'Volume 3' 10" LP on Blue Note Records BLP-5040. The musicians include Horace Silver, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.
Record info:
G+ with moderate scuffing, it still plays well with no skips.
Cover info:
Solid VG+ with some seam wear (not much though). The front cover has a library style #d sticker on top left corner. The back cover has some age staining and some roughened edging on bottom of artwork. There is a price sticker on the top left corner.
Label / Pressing info:
Original 757 Lexington Ave address deep groove mono press with Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area. Both sides have some circular label wear along the edge.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
