Miles Davis - Sketches Of Spain (180g Vinyl LP) NEW/SEALED The Critically Acclaimed 1960 Masterpiece From Jazz's Greatest Innovator On 180g Vinyl-NEW/SEALED Review Considered to be one of the most accessible of the Miles Davis back catalogue, 'Sketches Of Spain' is a 1960 album, now brought to you on 180g Vinyl from Not Now Music. When Miles Davis entered into collaboration with Gil Evans for the recording of 'Sketches Of Spain' in 1959, the duo had already been responsible for the albums 'Miles Ahead' and 'Porgy And Bess' which had paired the trumpeter with a large ensemble arranged and conducted by the mercurial Evans. 'Spain' became a further extension of a marriage seemingly made in heaven as Davis revelled in settings tailor-made for him by a man totally sympathetic to his needs.
