Description

1956 compilation release on the collectable label Esquire Records with very striking ‘Modernist’ artwork by illustrator Ralph Steadman.
Cover: VG. Great front cover just some light marks top right where sticker probably was. Light ringwear on back and 3 small rips to open edge on back. No writing on back and not yellowed like some. See pics
Vinyl: VG+. RVG hand-etched in run-out grooves. Vinyl visually great clean and shiny, a few very light marks and hardly any spindle marks, labels good. Plays well, heavy Esquire pressing, some light surface noise only really noticeable on sparser ballad track ‘My old flame’ but doesn’t overpower music. A few other light ticks in odd places. Overall decent for its age.
