Miles Davis -- Sorcerer (1967, vinyl, LP) CS 9532

Description

Great example of Miles Davis’ effort to develop and evolve past the post-bop style in the late 60s.   Songs were written by Herbie Hancock and Tony Williams and, one cut, by legendary jazz singer Bob Dorough, who also provides the vocals.  With the exception of the Dorough track, the personnel includes:  Hancock, piano;  Williams, drums; Wayne Shorter, sax;  Ron Carter, bass.

Sleeves:  outer EX (still retains shrink wrap);  inner:  VG.  I ship records using standard 12 x 12 LP mailers and pack LPs outside the cover to prevent split seams and also protect with a plastic outer sleeve.  If space allows a cardboard insert will be added for additional protection.
